Gabor's Road to the Governorship
2004, St Frances Orphanage, Deva, Romania. Gabor together with the Hungarian Budapest-Duna RC spearheaded a $55,000 Matching Grant paying for this state-of-the-art woodworking shop enabling the orphanage to teach the children a useful trade.The trade school opening in 2004, Dava, RomaniaPursat Rotary Club, the first club in Cambodia.Pursat, Cambodia 2008 Gabor is overseeing the distribution of free bicycles to school kids enabling them to commute to school. The bikes were purchased with a Matching Grant that Gabor spear headed.Gabor has spearheaded two matching grants aimed at preventing Cambodian children to become victims of human trafficking.
